I guess it was inevitable that I would someday own a trike. And it actually came sooner than I expected. It was a warm beautiful day March when Connie and I decided to go look at a new bike, at least new to us. So we hopped on Blue and headed off in search of a toy. A short 2 ½ hours later and we spied the one. So it was out with the Blue and in with the New.
We now have a blank pearl white canvas on which to put miles, memories, and goodies.
After the ride back to Rogers to meet some of the Chapter folks for supper and all the ooohs and ahhhs appropriate for a new baby we made it home where we started talking about all the “HAVE” to haves for it. That is when the reality sunk in that the trike was the cheapest part.
The next evening we took her for a short ride where Connie took over the controls, I’m not sure who was more nervous at the start, but in no time we both were enjoying the change in views. It’s been a few years since she rode her own bike but just like they say she was right back in it like a duck to water. I won’t hesitate a minute from time to time setting back to enjoy the ride. Well that’s about all for now but come back from time to time and see what kind of adventures we find.
